宗旨

本專題將重新閱讀亞洲現代性相關的代表性文本，探討其中涉及亞洲論述、他者想像、主體位置、國家主義、國際主義之議題，以及這些議題在二十世紀之交知識轉型與體系化的過程中如何發生，涉及了什麼主體化工程與主權思考。

我們將先透過當代哲學的政治倫理思考，建立幾個核心議題，然後重新閱讀亞洲現代性以及中國古典論著具有代表性的文字。本專題將區分主題，分學期進行。2006年春季班將著重於政治性重探以及以及有關我們、共同體、群學、邊界等關鍵概念。
